The first written information about the estate dates back to the 3rd quarter of the 18th century.  It is known that in 1769, the estate had 14 buildings.  Charlotte Lieven received Mežotne as a gift from Russian Empress Catherine the Great in 1759.  The estate suffered much damage during World War I.  After the war it became an exemplary estate, but its roof and mansard burned down during World War II.  Restoration of the estate began in 2007.  Today Mazmežotne Estate is a beautiful place, surrounded by nature. It offers recreational facilities, including accommodations, dining, banquet facilities for events and seminars, as well as biking, boating and hiking for those who enjoy exercise.  The former stables and barn offer spacious halls for celebrations, weddings, seminars, concerts, exhibitions. One of the buildings houses a SPA complex with a range of relaxing procedures.  The open chimney house offers an exhibition of the history of sugar-beet cultivation and sugar production industry in Latvia. The old cheese house is now a sauna with a relaxation room, a hot water tub outdoors, and a terrace.

Lauku māja atrodas Aglonā pie dabas parka “Ciriša ezers”. Šeit ne tikai uzņem viesus, bet ir izveidota arī bioloģiskā saimniecība, kurā ražotie produkti tiek celti galdā kā Latgales kulinārā mantojuma ēdieni. Pērn viesiem uzslieta jauna pirtiņa.

Guest house is located seven kilometers from Embute. Deseles dzirnavas is biological farm going in fruit-growing and offers 3 fully equipped rooms for guests in the old mill building. During the season guests are welcome to feast on strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples and plums.

“Dēseles dzirnavas” ir atjaunotas, saglabājot ēkas vēsturisko noskaņu. Saimnieki ir ieguldījuši lielu darbu apkaimes sakopšanā. Ir izveidota plaša atpūtas vietas ūdenskrātuves krastā. Saimniecības siltumnīcās audzētie lauku labumi tiek piedāvāti klientiem gan svaigā, gan pārstrādātu produktu veidā. The farm offers horseback rides (breeds of Latvia, Lithuania and Byelorussia) using roads through neighbourhood forests down to the borderland of Byelorussia, acquainting the guests with the unique landscape of banks of the Daugava River, fauna and flora. In the neighbourhood of „Klajumi” there is a trekking path marked by calorific marks on the trees, but nearby the farm there is created „Odu taka” (Mosquito path) equipped with informative stands on environment of the surroundings.

Vēsturiskajā Sēlijas novadā šobrīd vienīgā mītne, kurai ir piešķirts Zaļais sertifikāts. Saimnieki turpina iesākto darbu – labiekārto apkaimes vidi, domā par jauniem saimniekošanas veidiem. Pērnajā gadā ir uzstādīta jauna apkures sistēma dzīvojamā ēkā. Viesiem piedāvā svaigus dārzeņus un augļus no savas saimniecības.

Ragaciema Skadiņi is an old fisherman's homestead, the name of which is already mentioned in the census documents of 1826. At present, the old fisherman's farm is ready to welcom guests for overnight stays in wooden houses: 2 four-bed houses with 2 rooms, 1 six-bed house with 3 rooms, an old fisherman's house - Vilma's house (for 6-8 persons) and a sauna house (for 6-8 persons). For events - a fisherman's barn (70-100 people) and an event terrace (up to 30 people). Sauna and hot tub with LED lights and hydromassage.

The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, as well as dishes. There is a shower room, WC and hairdryer. The cottages have a terrace with table meals and barbecue facilities. Bed linen, towels and blankets for cooler evenings are included.

Nearby is the famous Ragaciems fish market, grocery stores, bus stop. Within a few minutes walk there are 3 lovely pubs for great delicious meals (Ribas, Bermuda, Friends boat).

Nearby are the hiking trails of Ķemeri National Park, Lake Kaņieris with a bird-watching tower and the Lapmežciems Museum, where you can learn about the history of the surrounding fishing villages. Only 280m to the sea, beach next to Ragaciema sedums.

The proximity of Cape Kolka, the air with its redolent scent of the sea and the pine trees, and a unique identity – these are the characteristics of Kolka, and the Ūši farm has fully absorbed them.  Guests have a separate apartment in a country house with a shower and WC.

Saimniece sadarbojas ar Slīteres nacionālo parku, kempingā izveidojusi jaunu atpūtas vietu. Demonstrē Ziemeļkurzemes tradicionālā ēdiena - sklandraušu gatavošanas procesu.

Uzstādīta jauna bioloģiskās attīrīšanas iekārta. Klientiem pieejami zirgi, kas apsaimnieko piekrastes pļavas, veicinot bioloģiskās daudzveidības palielināšanos. Sadarbojas ar putnu vērotājiem.
