Work continues on the project "Silver Travellers"

12/28/2020

We continue to work on the project "Silver Travellers". The project aims to close an existing gap in the provision of modern technology learning in the rural tourism sector facing new market challenges. On December 18th the project partners met online to discuss the next steps until the end of the project in August 2021.

The project partners continue to develop training material to help rural tourism companies, as well as teachers and students in this field to gain more knowledge and skills to better attract the growing segment of rural tourism – senior tourists. Training material with additional details like presentations and videos will help to increase the competitiveness and professionalism of people working in the tourism. When training material will be ready the partners will evaluate it in their countries, involving more than 50 participants in total. At the end of the project the training material will be translated by the project partners in their languages, so that it is freely available in Latvia, Austria, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
