Take the Vidzeme motorway (A2) in the direction to Sigulda, when arrive in Sigulda on the first crossroad (first traffic lights, stores „Šokolāde”, „Globuss”, hotel „Aparjods”) turn to the right in the direction to Allaži, continue about 5,5 km, pass place „Stīveri” and after approximately after 1 km turn left at the sign „Guest house „Mauriņi””.

Travel directions (by public transportation)

By bus:

1) from the Riga International Coach Terminal take bus Rīga-Allaži-Sigulda until the bus stop „Tautas nams" or „Stīveri" (after the Allaži parish centre), then walk approximately 1 km until the guest house.

2) from the Riga International Coach terminal, bus stops in Riga "Teika" or "Jugla" take bus to Sigulda. Get off at the first bus stop in Sigulda "Allažu pagrieziens". Then cross the motorway and go to the bus stop over the road take bus Sigulda-Allaži-Mālpils until thebus stop "Stīveri" or "Tautas nams" and walk approximately 1km until the guest house.

By train – from the Riga Central Railway station take train Riga-Sigulda, when arrive in Sigulda go to the Sigulda Buss Station (next to the Railway station) and take bus Sigulda-Allaži-Mālpils until the bus stop „Stīveri" or „Tautas nams" and walk approximately 1 km until the guest house.

The guest house is located about 6 km from Sigulda. "Mauriņi" was built in such a way that one of the ancient oak trees is visible from each window. Home cooking, using local farmers' products, berries and mushrooms picked in the area, and home-grown vegetables. Cakes and mini pies with a variety of fillings.

Latvian cuisine: Wild mushroom sauce, pork’s head soup, potato dumpling milk soup, barley soup, wild mushroom soup, fish soup, potato dumplings with bacon and cream, porridge, stuffed rutabaga, sautéed chicken, wild game, stacked rye bread, bread soup, whipped dessert with berry sauce, crepes, pierogi.
