Intensive farming – 4,000 dairy cows, crop farming, horse breeding, biogas manufacturing and beer brewing. The large farm has room for up to 3,300 dairy cows, with average milk output of ~8,630 kg per cow and total output around 5,862 t per year.  The farm has 2,972 ha of land, with grain grown on 2,727 of them, mostly food wheat and rapeseed.  This is one of Latvia’s largest horse farms (some 40 horses), and horse boarding is available.  Biogas from the company supports two cogeneration plants (0.5 and 1.5 MW).  The farm earns revenues of around EUR 19 million per year.
