From theory to practice and new knowledge! On June 18th, the third project partner meeting was held in Pärnu, Estonia. Discussions included the activities already completed and those still to be undertaken. For example, involving target groups—families with young children, seniors, people with mobility difficulties, or other limitations—and including active volunteers and other interested parties living near the Forest Trail and Coastal Trail in the project's activities.

Project partners presented their achievements during this project period: the establishment of a volunteer movement for trail marking, the development of guidelines for self-guided student hikes, the installation of video surveillance cameras in certain sections of the Coastal Trail, and the attainment of other project goals.

On June 19th, a pilot solution for sea access for people with functional impairments was tested on Pärnu beach, on the 34th section of the Coastal Trail. Now, part of this section is accessible by wheelchair. The next step is to work together to establish such infrastructure in other locations—in both Estonia and Latvia.
