We shall be proudly showcasing Latvian ciders at CiderCon 2025, the largest cider conference and trade show in the United States.
CiderCon is the leading annual cider conference for industry professionals and an excellent opportunity to learn, share experiences, taste ciders, and network with people from all over the world working in various sectors of the cider industry. The conference will offer presentations, seminars, and workshops on themed categories: Doing Business Better, Knowing the Trends, Growing Bountiful Apples, Exploring Cider’s Flavor and Terroir, Crafting Amazing Cider, Selling More Cider. There will also be a trade show showcasing the cider industry.
We shall be at the conference to introduce the international cider community to Latvia’s outstanding ciders and their unique Baltic character, strengthen existing relationships with cider connoisseurs from various countries, and gain insights into the latest developments in the global cider scene.
Asnāte Ziemele of Baltic Country Holidays looks forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones at the Cider Share event kicking off the conference. Representing the Latvian Cider Route, Asnāte will be pouring Latvian craft ciders and joining other participants to share their ciders, stories, and the inspirations behind their creations.
Latvian craft ciders - Cool by Nature!
Joining the event from Latvia are specially selected Abuls and Mūrbūdu ciders, which will be featured at the Cider Share event. Abuls is one of Latvia’s most experienced cideries, while Mūrbūdu Sidrs boldly experiments with innovative cider-making techniques.
Ciders from Abuls Cidery:
Cider from Mūrbūdu Sidrs:
This 2019 Aronia cider was aged for 18 months in American oak barrels previously used for Jim Beam bourbon. The cider offers the unique character of the 2019 vintage combined with the smoothness and depth that only time can provide. The addition of aronia berries is a distinctive flavor characteristic of Latvian ciders. Expect fresh American oak notes, a rich bouquet of red fruits, and a touch of oak sweetness, resulting in a full-bodied cider.
Hope to see you there at CiderCon 2025!
