The Silver Travelers project is over. The project aims to close an existing gap in the provision of modern technology learning in the rural tourism sector facing new market challenges.
The project partners worked together to develop training material that would provide an opportunity for people working in tourism - entrepreneurs, as well as teachers and students to gain more knowledge and skills to better attract senior tourists. The developed material consists of a theory part, practical examples, tasks and videos. This will help to gain and improve skills and experience in the reception of tourists and the development of new, competitive rural tourism products, as well as to improve the links between the training sector and the labour market.
Study material in Latvian is available on the project website.
