With the first partner meeting, the project "Extending the Baltic military heritage tourism product in Lithuania and South Latvia" is launched

This week, 26-27 February, partners from Latvia and Lithuania of the new project "Extending the Baltic military heritage tourism product in Lithuania and South Latvia (Military Heritage II)" met in the first partner meeting in Riga in order to start active work on the expansion and development of the Baltic military heritage tourism product.


During the first partner meeting, the planned project activities were discussed, the first tasks and deadlines for the work were agreed.

As part of the meeting, partners also went on on-site visits to see the examples of military heritage tourism objects from the previous Estonia-Latvia Programme project. Partners got acquainted with the audio guide of Mangalsala fortifications and visited the information stands in the former Soviet army town in Mežgarciems.
